Good Friday

I know Easter is past, but I will post this anyways. ;) This year for Good Friday mom did something unique and amazing. She had stations around the house for us to go through.

One (in the playhouse) had communion and you were to read Matt. 26:17-30 (the Passover meal), and 1 Cor. 5:7-8. Then take communion.
Another one (on the porch swing) was about Suffering. You were to read Matt. 27:26-31 then you were to pray a thoughtful prayer Thanking Jesus for Humbling Himself for you.
The next one is really neat. (it was in the front room) We were to read Eph. 5:2 (it talks about a Sweet smelling aroma), and Matt. 5:16 (that talks about being a light) After we read we were to light a candle and put it on the menorah. There are only 3 more. ;) The next one (it was by the fireplace) was confession. The verse was 1 Cor. 11:27 and 31. There were pieces of paper to write down the sins we needed to get rid of. After we were done writing them down we were to throw them in the fire.

I really enjoyed doing this next one. (it was in the guest room) We were to read Matt. 26:30. Then we were to go through the Hymnal and pick a song that was meaningful to us and sing it to Him. And the last but defiantly not least. Prayer. We were to read Matt. 26:40-41. Then write down a list of people and things to pray for, then go find a quiet place to pray for an hour.
Mom did a Great job of putting this together. I extremely enjoyed doing it. I hope you guys have a Great week. :)

Day Two..

Here are the pictures from day two of the snow. Jenel got to stay home and the little children that she watches, came over for the day. It was great to have them over. The snow the second day was not good for rolling, but it was good for packing. ;) So we packed some snow. ;)
                                                                    Our backyard. ;)
