A Exciting Birthday Party

My Great Grandma just turned 102. :) Two weekends ago we had a party for her. My family took a 2 1/2 hour car ride to my Grandparents, on the way from my Grandparents to the party our car starting acting strange. It would feel like it was kicking it's self and like it was getting no gas. It finely wouldn't go anywhere, so we pulled to the side of the road and sat there for a little while to see if it would start again. We ended up calling AAA for a tow-truck. Dad, Mom, Nate, and me sat in the car and waited for the tow-truck, while the rest of the kids got picked up by my uncles and taken to the party. The tow-truck showed up at 2:55 and took the van (with Dad and Mom) to the Ford dealership to be fixed. While Grandpa showed up and took Nate and I to the Ford dealership where we picked up Dad and Mom. The party started at 2:00 and the five of us showed up at 3:45. :) The party was still fun. :) The van sort of got fixed (we got home). :) Well, we thought it was fixed, but a couple of days ago Mom was running earns with some of us and it started to do it again!!! When ever it does it, it's really Hot (it was 91 the day of the party). :) It was just as hot inside as it was outside!! Here are some pictures of our trip. :) Tina took all the pictures.

Have a great week.

Salt Lake City Part 2

While we were in Salt Lake, we did 5-day clubs. :) Jenel and I ended up on the same team. It was great having Jenel on the same team as me, because I didn't know anyone else on are team. (I only knew 8 people there at SL. There was over 120 people.) Jenel was the team leader and there was two other people on the team besides me. We did three clubs every day, one at 12:30, 3:00, and 6:00. They were spaced just right, so we could have a nap and have dinner. :) Here are some more pictures. :)
                                                          The beautiful sunsets. :)

These are our rooms beds. :) We had to put them some were for Sunday.

Jenel waiting.... Are club didn't start till later.
The parks in Salt Lake are huge!!!!

Jenel                                                                                                        Me

I was really bored so I took pictures of Jenel's sunglasses.

This is what I had for dinner almost every day for a week.
We had a ton of water, while we were there.
Have you ever heard of a kickball championship!?! There was one in the park while we were there.
In the park there was a water fountain for little kids to play in. It's really cool. :)

                                                              Beautiful waterfall. :)

They also have green houses. It's amazing.

They have a couple of these signs by the fountain.
Little kids climb on the rocks and waterfalls anyway.
                                                                    Have a nice day.

Salt Lake City

I was gone in Salt Lake City for two weeks. I got back a week ago. Notice at the end of my last couple of posts it says it's really hot here. Well, it was Really hot, like 90-99o hot. :) I went with my Dad and Jenel. Here's what we did..... We went with CEF Good News Across America. This is what happens. A whole bunch of people that are involved in CEF go to one city and partner with churches and do VBS of sorts but in parks or backyards. It was a blast and I got to meet a lot of new people. :) Ok here are some pictures from the trip. :)

Courageous - In Theaters 2011

banner
You HAVE to see this movie when it comes out!!! I got to go watch it a couple of weeks ago and it's the Best movie ever. You will laugh, cry, and Hopefully Love this movie. I cried almost all the way though the movie (I Never and I mean Never cry in movies.). My Dad was at the eage of his seat the whole time. If you don't know what it's about here you go. :)
Four men, one calling: To serve and protect. As law enforcement officers, Adam Mitchell, Nathan Hayes, David Thomson, and Shane Fuller are confident and focused. Yet at the end of the day, they face a challenge that none of them are truly prepared to tackle: fatherhood.
While they consistently give their best on the job, good enough seems to be all they can muster as dads. But they're quickly discovering that their standard is missing the mark.
When tragedy hits home, these men are left wrestling with their hopes, their fears, their faith, and their fathering. Can a newfound urgency help these dads draw closer to God ... and to their children?
Filled with action-packed police drama, COURAGEOUS is the fourth film from Sherwood Pictures, the moviemaking ministry of Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany, Georgia. Riveted moviegoers will once again find themselves laughing, crying, and cheering as they are challenged and inspired by everyday heroes who long to be the kinds of dads that make a lifelong impact on their children.
Protecting the streets is second nature to these men. Raising their children in a God-honoring way? That's courageous.

In Theaters September 30

I can hardly wait tell it comes out, so I can go see it again. :) I'm going opening night with my sister. Let me just say.... You Have To Go See It. Ok I'm done. :)
